What is the General Return Policy of Storm Inspired?
Our curators at Storm Inspired select products because we love them, but understand that every piece doesn’t quite work in every space which may result in you needing to make a return.
To return an item follow the directions below:

3. Returning an item is at your own risk. You must ensure that the item is adequately packaged, and at your option and cost, insured. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging by you or if the item is damaged or lost while being returned to us. Items that are damaged when we receive them will not be eligible for a refund.
If you would like to use your own return shipping method, please obtain a return authorization number from firstname.lastname@example.org. Once obtained, pack and return items in original condition and send to:

We hope you love your selection as much as we enjoy curating our shop and creating the pieces. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we’ll gladly offer you a replacement, exchange or refund on any eligible merchandise.
Refunds are made to the original method of payment, less shipping and handling. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the item received is damaged, defective or incorrect. Returns sent in that arrive with postage due will be returned to sender. Please allow 72 business hours to quality control your return and for the refund to be made.
Storm Inspired does not accept returns or exchanges on custom furniture and custom lighting orders.
Tibetan fur furniture: these stunning pieces are made to order and not returnable.
Furniture pieces like Casegoods and some Accent Tables: Our furniture pieces are subject to a 30% re-stock fee and may only be returned if they are rejected at delivery and not received into the home.
Lighting: Custom made lighting pieces are not returnable. All other lighting is able to be returned at a 30% re-stock fee. No lighting returns will be accepted if they have been installed. PLEASE always check the light with your electrician, prior to install, to make sure it will be perfect for you.
Vintage Kilim Rugs: Our kilim rugs are vintage area rugs, that are one of a kind, individually unique and come with flaws due to their age. We source some of the most unique and beautiful rugs we can find. They are restored and cleaned, but they are not new. You should expect imperfections, which add character to the rugs. If you don’t love your rug, you can return it in accordance with our return policy.
Damages to the merchandise while in transit, or defects in manufacturing are rare, but occasionally do happen. Our handling services will pre-inspect your piece before delivery to your home to ensure your piece looks perfect. Do not accept any piece that is damaged. It must be documented and returned with the delivery agent. Should your piece arrive with a defect or damage we will do our best to have a replacement shipped out to you as soon as possible. The delivery agent will contact us if the piece is damaged and rejected to start the replacement process.
Furniture that is returned or rejected at delivery that is not damaged will be will be issued store credit as a refund less the original handling fee charges and a 30% restocking fee. We cannot cancel orders for in-stock merchandise once it has been transmitted to our vendors and fulfillment centers.
Stocked Decor Items
We accept returns for decor pieces within 14 days of delivery with proof of purchase. We regret that we are not able to cancel orders for in-stock merchandise once they have been transmitted to our fulfillment center.
Final Sale & Clearance Items
Please note that Final Sale and Clearance items are not returnable or exchangeable except for manufacturing defects.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel your order once it has been received and processed by our fulfillment team. When you submit your order and the payment has been processed, it can no longer be modified or edited by our team in any way.
When you submit an order online, it is instantly entered into our database, your order confirmation is issued, and your payment is verified by our system. Within an hour or so, your order is transmitted to our fulfillment centers and can no longer be modified in any way.
Furniture orders may be canceled within 24 hours of submitting the order.
In some cases, it is possible to cancel back-ordered items in your order, since they are not scheduled for immediate shipment.
If we are unable to cancel your order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a return authorization number and form to receive a full refund of your purchase, less shipping costs.
